Neurodiverse Counseling Services was established to support and advocate for divergent minds. We are a cooperative of counseling professionals, advocates, and allies who rebel against the status quo through deep reflection and by questioning assumptions. We show unconditional respect and appreciation for the people we have the opportunity to meet. We are here to learn and grow with our community.

We understand the burnout experienced by clinicians working in wasteful organizations that set unrealistic productivity expectations on their clinicians. We are here to liberate you from cumbersome busywork by eliminating non-value-added processes, reducing costs and waste.

Our cooperative of clinicians is here to support the development of your private practice in the state of Arizona. We aim to simplify your life so you can provide affirming therapy.

Our group provides

  • Credentialing and contracting with Compsych, Cigna, Aetna, Optum/UCH, and BCBS plans.

  • Billing services including coding, claims submission, clearing house rejections, denial management, and accounts receivable follow-up.

  • Training in clinical documentation to ensure compliance with medical necessity requirements.

  • Training opportunities in Neurodiversity Affirming Practice (additional CE trainings coming soon).

  • Individual consultation to support development of your independent private practice.

  • Bi-weekly group consultation to support clinical practice.

  • Access to our extensive referral network.

  • Phone, email (Google suite), and EHR (Simple Practice) are provided.

  • Access to our executive suites to conduct in-person sessions.

  • Flexible work schedule.

Positions (we are currently not hiring until Summer 2024, but are accepting resumes)

  • Clinician

    • Independently License (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

    • Full-time W2 salary: $60,000

    • 20 days PTO and 11 Federal Holidays

    • 18.0 weekly productivity

    • Bonus Compensation: $70 per billable hour above monthly productivity requirements

    • Paid license renewal

    • Health insurance (BCBS EverydayHealth HMO Silver 5000 default plan)

    • Life Insurance ($100,000 policy through Principal)

    • Short-term disability insurance (coming soon)

  • Contracted Clinician

    • Independently License (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

    • 75/25 compensation split

    • No productivity requirements

  • Associate Clinician (Part-time)

    • Part-time W2: $60 per billable hour (no productivity requirement)

  • Associate Clinician (Full-time)

    • Associate License (LAC, LMSW, LAMFT).

    • Full-time W2 salary: $50,000

    • 20 days PTO and 11 Federal Holidays

    • 18.0 weekly productivity

    • Bonus Compensation: $60 per billable hour above monthly productivity requirements
