Navigating the world as a neurodivergent individual can be challenging, often due to neurotypical/societal expectations. You may feel frustrated, overwhelmed, misunderstood, and alone, constantly trying to keep up with the world around you and finding it difficult to 'fit in.' This can lead to burnout, anxiety, difficulties regulating emotions, and low self-esteem. From my personal and professional experiences with neurodivergence, I recognize its complex nature. This journey has inspired my passion for helping teens and young adults navigate their struggles and live authentically. In my practice, I offer a safe and accepting space for neurodivergent individuals, providing therapy that is affirming and trauma-informed. Here, you are encouraged to openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, knowing you have the understanding and support you need.
Approach
Central to my practice is a holistic, strength-based perspective. I emphasize understanding your complete self, focusing on your strengths and how they can support your growth and well-being. This approach empowers you, making you feel confident and capable. In our sessions, I use techniques customized to meet your specific needs, drawing from therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness.
